Realm, the mobile-first, play-to-earn metaverse, is excited to announce a new partnership with Undead Baby Ape Club (UBAC), a 5,000 generative baby ape NFT collection with real utility. UBAC is a brand new, community-driven NFT project, and its founder, Charles Hutchinson, was the first Realm land owner!
Realm is a sustainably-minded metaverse with a unique portal and land system that allows users to create their own customisable microverses for free, while still selling land in the central Metropolis to individuals and companies wishing to gain more traction in their realms. Realm wants to honor the individuals who have already purchased land in the Realm Metaverse, and that is why we have decided to partner with Charles and UBAC, our very first land owner.
The UBAC Labs founder, Charles Hutchinson, is a neuroscientist with deep knowledge and skills in the NFT space. Charles is a passionate creator, artist, and educator. Charles was the first person to own Realm land and he is passionate about Realm initiatives. His seasoned leadership team brings a wealth of business, technology, and crypto experience.
Charles created UBAC with the metaverse in mind– not only is it a 5,000 generative baby ape collection, but for each UBAC you mint, you will also receive a 3d, metaverse-ready, voxel-style ape that you can use in Realm!
This partnership is indicative of the ways in which the metaverse is changing the NFT landscape for the better. Realm will be a place where you can display your NFTs in novel ways and even interact with them or use them as avatars.
UBAC has utility like no other NFT collection, and they are taking on the challenge of minting on every major blockchain. The first mint will be on Ethereum– these will be the “OG Ape Holders”, who will automatically be whitelisted for subsequent mints. Each mint will have apes with unique characteristics that are exclusive to that chain. In the future UBAC plans to collaborate with Don “Magic” Juan to create the first church in the metaverse.
