Get ready for our 4th land sale with NFTrade! On Wednesday December 15th at 15:00 UTC, you will be able to purchase land at https://www.realm.art/land and https://nftrade.com/.

Hopefully you’ve already staked enough $REALM and accumulated enough $sREALM to afford the land parcel that you desire. If this is anything like our previous rounds, the available land will sell out quite quickly! So be sure to mark your calendar and be ready to jump in on the action when the time comes. Here’s a recap of Round 3, in case you missed it, as well as a writeup on our inclusive land model.

We’ve added even more land parcels in this round to increase your chances of being able to own your very own piece of the Metropolis! Check out the numbers in the image below:

The Four Steps to Your Piece of The Metaverse

The fourth round of the land sale will be a 14-day event. Land will be allotted on a first come, first served basis, so get in early. In order to buy land in the Metropolis, you need to collect enough $sREALM to charge the Singularity and create a portal. You do this by following these steps:

Stake $REALM tokens at https://www.realm.art/land to earn $sREALM.
If you hold $REALM on BSC, stake in the BSC pool. If you hold $REALM on ETH, stake in the ETH pool. Tokens will be locked for 14 days from the day you start staking.
For every $REALM you stake for 1 day you will earn 1 $sREALM. The longer you stake, the more $sREALM you receive. For example: 100 $REALM for 10 days = 1000 $sREALM.
As soon as you have the minimum amount of $sREALM you can pay the required $sREALM and the USDT price for the land.

Key Information: How To Stake $Realm and Buy Land

The fourth round of Realm staking and the land sale starts on Wednesday December 15th at 15:00 UTC.
Tier prices are in $sREALM plus USDT cost.
The price of Land will increase by roughly 15% each round.
Realm land can be traded like any other NFT. You can buy Land in the Realm Metaverse and trade or sell it for $REALM.
The sale will be available on two chains to make it fair for holders on both chains. More Land will be public on BSC.
Tokens will be locked for 14 days from the day you start staking.
Staking works like this: you will get 1 $sREALM for every $REALM staked every 24 hours. $sREALM tokens are accrued every few minutes. The longer you stake, the more $sREALM you will get.
The land is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you’ve mined enough $sREALM, you can immediately buy your Land with the correct amount of USDT.
$REALM holders in BSC stake in the BSC pool. $REALM holders on ETH stake in the ETH pool.
At this time, there is no bridge for BSC to ETH for $sREALM.
The specific plot of Land in your Tier is randomized.
The land is limited to one per Tier per wallet.
The land will be airdropped on Polygon once staking ends.

Expect Delays with BSC

Due to network congestion on the Binance Smart Chain network, users may experience delays when purchasing land parcels on BSC. In the last round, the confirmation of some purchases were delayed for up to 20 minutes, while people waited in limbo wondering whether or not their transaction would be approved. Some folks resubmitted their purchases several times during that window of uncertainty, costing them significant gas fees. Be ready for a similar level of congestion in the network and the possibility of several minutes of delays when you submit your transaction.

QuantPods Revealed

Earlier this week, we opened the docking system for the QuantPods and revealed a bit more about how they will work and what is contained inside. We also kicked off our holiday giveaway campaign by airdropping $REALM tokens to a few lucky QuantPod Dockers. We will continue our giveaways throughout the coming weeks, so keep posted with this Twitter thread and all of our socials to stay informed.

The team had announced on Telegram that QuantPods would be available for purchase with $sREALM and USDT during Land Sale #4. This will not occur, and we will keep this land sale entirely focused on selling land. The idea behind selling QuantPods during the sale was two-fold; one, to provide people an additional utility for the accumulated sREALM, and two, to provide those who were not present at NFT.NYC to receive the swag bag gifts with a way to participate in our holiday giveaways by docking QuantPods.

In the future, we will absolutely provide additional ways to redeem and utilize sREALM beyond the purchase of land, which will likely include purchasing QuantPods as just one example. Additionally, we’ve realized that most of our community that had desired to purchase QuantPods and participate have already gone to the one and only SwagNFTNYC Official Collection on OpenSea to purchase their own (Beware of scammers and fake collections, there are many).

For those that have been asking, the original collection of 5,000 QuantPods that were minted through SwagNFTNYC will remain as is, and we will be minting new QuantPod collections in the future. Prior to future mints and selling QuantPods directly, we will have to determine a fair market price based on full transparency on what may emerge when the QuantPods are collapsed and redeemed. This is the only fair way for us to proceed with our plans, by providing this transparency to our community in full. The values and principles that drive Realm, our designs and our decisions, cannot be compromised, hence our decision to delay this QuantPod sale.

For now we can say that the QuantPods will contain some chance of redeeming a combination of Realm Tokens, Realmies, Land Parcels, Artwork, NFTs, Metaverse Keys, and long-awaited game items. Each portal is unique, and can only be redeemed once, and the process will be randomized to give everyone an equal chance of winning big. The redemption system will be available sometime in early Q1, 2022. Realm will also be launching its own NFT marketplace, along with our mobile-app and entire Metaverse.

The Pre-Alpha testing is coming along great! We have been enjoying playing the game and working out the bugs as they arise. For those of you that registered for Pre-Alpha, we are slowly bringing new testers in to our system, so get ready to have a working app in your hand over the coming months, as we roll into Alpha testing. Next year we will move into our Public Beta Launch, and we will keep you informed of our developments until then.
