Week in Review
What an exciting week to be a part of the Realm community! We kicked off the week with our first Tester Tuesday, where we introduced 20 new Alpha testers. Every week we will add more testers, and you can sign up here to be considered! Keep an eye out for bug-testing updates from our Alpha testers like this one.
We were also featured at Art Dubai 2022 this week along with our new partner, MORROW Collective. Read about our partnership and what we are building together here.
Finally, we just announced RealmStarter, our new $3M development fund for individuals, teams, and companies who wish to build in Realm. Of course, building in Realm will always be free and open to everyone, but if you want some help from our team, you can learn more and apply here.
Now onto the DevLogs.
Realm Marketplace
As promised, here is a sneak preview of our marketplace, where players will be able to buy utility NFTs from Realm and other sellers. NFTs bought through the marketplace can be used immediately in the metaverse and throughout the crypto world. We’re also working on a light theme to complement the darker version. One of the big goals of Realm is to create a one-stop metaverse experience with integrated gaming, social interaction, messaging, and more. Realm Marketplace is a big piece of the puzzle in terms of creating a holistic metaverse experience.
Realm Builder: UI and Low Poly Environments
We’ve been working hard on the builder, developing a super simple UI design and adding in low-poly landscapes from popular open source creators for everyone to use. Realm will be a collaborative environment that easily allows you to integrate your own assets and open source assets from other creators.

Low poly environments
As we continue to improve the Realm Builder, we’re really getting to understand how powerful this tool is. Check out this video for some of the vibey developments in low poly environment design we’ve been working on in the Realm Builder. This was as simple to build as it is beautiful. Just imagine the endless possibilities of what you will create in your Realm!
Genesis Realm Sword: Singularis MkII
As with last week’s Etheric Blade, the Singularis MkII is a mythical sword forged from the energy of the singularity by a long-forgotten craft of the golden age. Capable of drawing directly on the energy of the singularity, this item can cut through the very fabric of the Realm universe, giving the bearer fast travel abilities.
Stay tuned as the rest of the sword series is revealed in the coming weeks. We will let you know when swords and concept art get minted as NFTs. Owners of this sword concept art will receive royalties from the sale of this 3D in-game sword collection.
